Hitachi Displays' Development Division has teamed up with Hitachi Research Laboratory of Hitachi, Ltd. to promote the research and development of next-generation display systems.
We are developing a next-generation organic EL (electroluminescent) display system. Organic EL displays use low-temperature poly-silicon TFT substrate and employ an active matrix driven system to provide fast response to moving images. Our project is aiming to develop panels of different sizes, from small to large.
