1. What is Environmental ISO? |
ISO is the organization that determines common global rules though an international standardization system. The popular name for the international rules on how to take environmental action is environmental ISO, the details of which are stipulated in ISO14001. Based on the process approach shown below, environmental ISO aims to sustain environmental conservation and prevention while maintaining a balance with social and economic needs.

2. Acquiring Environmental ISO Certification |
(1) |
Hitachi Ltd. Display Group in Mobara, the precursor of Hitachi Displays, obtained recognition from JACO, a third party certification body, that its activities had met the requirements of ISO1400. |
(2) |
We then went ahead with integration and abolition at all sites, including our affiliated companies. |
(3) |
Hitachi Displays has been promoting continuous improvement under the slogan "A beautiful world for future generations". |
