1. Global warming prevention |
We are working toward energy conservation with the goal of reducing the CO2 emission amount by 7% compared with fiscal 1990 by fiscal 2010.
In the manufacturing department, we are striving to improve productivity with measures such as reducing switching losses of the process conditions of production facilities in product class switching while in indirect department, we are striving to reduce power consumption by strict management of OA equipment and air conditioning temperature.

2. Conservation of water resources |
We are striving to achieve our long-range objectives of reducing service water use by 7% of the 1995 level by the year 2010. In addition, we will continue our efforts to recover and regenerate wastewater and increase the use of regenerated water.
