The FPD International 2006 was held at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall for three days from October 18 (Wed.) to 20 (Fri.).
375 companies and groups from Japan and overseas participated in the exhibition, with 932 booths. The exhibition ended on a high note, with 69,951 visitors.
At our booth, we exhibited IPS LCDs/OLEDs for DSC, mobile IPS lineup for cellular phones, and medium- and small-sized LCDs for industrial and in-vehicle use, among others. In the IPS Alpha Technology section, displays such as technologies for improving moving picture quality and IPSα panels with LED-BL attracted visitors, in addition to the IPS-Pro equipped 26-, 32- and 37-inch low power LCD panel lineup.
